DESCRIPTION
All Position Low Hydrogen Iron Powered Electrode
APPLICATION
For welding of a variety of carbon and low ally steels in the 50 ksi (345 MPA) minimum yield. It is an excellent electrode for applications that require tough impact hardness at low temperatures.
PROCEDURE
Use DC Reverse [+] Polarity. Clean weld areas with a grinder and groove out the cracks using the Eagle 188. Vertical welds should be welded from bottom up using the stringer bead technique for maximum strength. A medium arc length should be maintained while welding.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
The Eagle 7018-1 is an all-position welding electrode that produces exceptional good impact results at low temperatures in both welded and stress relieved conditions.

DESCRIPTION
Copper Coated Gas Shielded All Position Wire for Joining Low Carbon Steel
APPLICATION
This wire is used for general welding of mild steel and low carbon steels. The Eagle 70S-6 Mig Wire is designed for welding duct work, structural steel, machinery, sheet plate and general repair work on low carbon steel components using single or multi pass welds.
PROCEDURE
DC Reverse [+] Polarity. Use the grinding method or remove fatigued metal using EAGLE 188. Use the lowest effective amperage while maintaining a 1/4 – 1/2 inch stick out length. Use the stringer bead technique for maximum strength.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
The Eagle 70S-6 is an all-position copper coated wire designed to produce superior weldments using mixed gas (80% Argon / 20% CO) or 100% CO₂ shielding gas. This wire is suitable for high-speed welding of low carbon steel by short circuit transfer mode for welding in all position.

DESCRIPTION
High speed gouging and cutting electrode without air or oxygen supply.
APPLICATION
For cutting and gouging on cast iron, steel, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals.
PROCEDURE
Use DC Straight [–] Polarity. Point the electrode in the direction of travel. Hold the electrode at a slight angle (10° – 20°). Strike the arc and push the electrode in a short sawing motion for the most efficient removal of metal. Limit each groove to ½ the diameter of the electrode.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
The Eagle 188 is a high-quality gouging electrode that can operate on all types of welding machines with sufficient capacity. The special coating eliminates the need for compressed air or oxygen. The depth and groove size is easily controlled. The cut is smooth and the slag is easily removed. This electrode can be used effectively in all positions.

DESCRIPTION
All Position Self Shielded Flux Cored Wire
APPLICATION
This premium wire was developed for welding mild steel in all positions without the use of gas.
PROCEDURE
Use DC Straight [–] Polarity. Use the grinding method or remove fatigued metal using the EAGLE 188. Use the lowest effective amperage while maintaining a 1/2” – 5/8” stick out length. Using the stringer bead technique for maximum strength.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
The EAGLE 771-11 is an all-position flux cored wire designed to produce superior weldments on mild steel. Excellent on single or multiple pass welds up to 3/8”. The soft stable arc and the fast–freeze weld puddle makes out of position welding easier to control and with very little spatter.
